DIY Bike Repair & Drop-in Hours
October 23 @ 3:30 pm - 6:30 pm
DIY Drop-In Bike Repair: Learn to fix and maintain your bike with the help of our friendly staff and volunteers. No appointment necessary. Learn how to tune-up your bike, how to fix a flat, how to adjust your brakes and more. Bring your bike, we’ll provide the tools.
Borrow a bike: Starting Saturday, August 24th, visitors can borrow one of ten black Townie Electra bicycles for one week. Each bike comes with a helmet and a lock, and one of the bikes even has a child’s seat attached to it.
Test an E-bike: A bike with pedal-assist can help you ride further and longer. It can be a good substitute for the car, helping you reduce your greenhouse gas emissions. Drop in to our booth to give one a try. You will complete a personal transportation audit to help you identify everyday trips that could be completed by e-bike. You will then receive training on the features of the e-bike. We’ll provide you with a helmet, and you will be able to test the e-bike out in a cordoned off area of the parking lot.
Route Planning Assistance: Want to ask someone about a good bike route to get you from A to B? Drop by and our seasoned volunteers can provide a recommendation.
Drop in during our open hours, no need to RSVP!
