September 28 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
On Wednesday, September 28th from 4-5 pm, David Simor (The Centre for Active Transportation [TCAT] Director) is facilitating a webinar and virtual panel discussion to explore the findings of the Urban Cycling Facilities and Travel Behaviour Change research initiative: a research project on bicycling uptake in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA). The four-year study surveyed over 1,600 participants across 17 communities in urban and suburban settings, both with and without cycling facilities. Interesting and relevant findings for practitioners and advocates can be found in this piece by Nancy Smith Lea (TCAT Senior Advisor).
