The Bike Rescue Program is dedicated repair hours for aspiring volunteer mechanics to work on refurbishing bikes in rough shape that have been donated to Markham Cycles.
Refurbished bikes are then used to aid Markham Cycles programming, such as the Cycle the City youth program, as well as donated back into the community.
This program is open to any community members interested in learning how to fix mechanical issues on bikes in a comfortable and encouraging environment.
To sign up to become a volunteer mechanic for this program, please sign up here.
This program runs from May to the end of August.
